Firstly, had the pleasure of photographing Julie and Robin’s wedding at the Adobe hotel Chester, situated in the centre of Chester. Looking out on to the Chester racecourse, it was a truly special and intimate wedding at The Abode Hotel.
Uniquely Julie and Robin deviated from the norm and subsequently walked down the aisle together. As a mature couple this was a great way for their intimate service. Before this, I spent a short while in their room photographing their amazing outfits after which, I photographed their family and guests.
The Service at The Abode Hotel
During the service at the Abode Hotel Chester tears could be seen from Robin’s daughter Sophie during the vows. Adding to this, Julies three children also looked rather emotional! Moreover, this service was particularly special as Julie works as a registra and the registras who arrived to conduct their wedding knew her well. The registra’s made reference to how particularly special it was to cover their wedding. Following the ceremony, we whisked ourselves outside for some family group photo. Shortly after, whilst the guests mingled we wandered around the hotel for more creative photos.
Given that it was a small wedding, they had their wedding breakfast with all their guests around one table. Indeed, everybody had a fab time which was shortly followed by the speeches from both Robin and Julie.
A walk around Chester Walls
Later, after the meal, Julie and Robin together with their guests went for a walk along Chester Wall. I snapped away as we made our way along the historic wall and down to the river. Since it was so picturesque, some more posed shots were taken on the bandstand. Finally, arriving back at the Abode hotel Chester, I said my goodbyes and left them to enjoy the remainder of their evening.
Truly they were a lovely couple and here are a few of their photos from their magical day. Congratulations Julie and Robin!
