Alderley Edge Hotel

A lovely day to have a reception at Alderley Edge Hotel. The day started at Liz’s parents home where the morning preparation was underway with the make up artist busy at work. As well as this, everybody was buzzing around, opening bottles of bubbly and having a wonderful time. Despite it being Liz’s big day, she appeared very relaxed. Her dress was laid out in another room looking absolutely gorgeous.

St. John’s Church, Prestbury

Shortly after I dashed off to the church in Prestbury village to meet Demetri together with his bestwoman and usher. Demetri looked particularly dapper in his kilt, as did the usher Joe in his Royal Navy uniform. Soon after,  my camera pointed towards the path to capture the guests. Only minutes later, the car arrived with Liz. and her bridesmaid Vicky who both looked amazing.

Slowly, the vicar walked with them towards the church where they then checked themselves before entering the church. Demetri was looking attentively towards her. It is a beautiful, old church  full of character which added to the ambiance and mood of the service. There were some moving hymns sang by the choir.

After a short while mingling with guests Liz and Demetri had some group photographs. Shortly after this, we made our way to Alderley Edge Hotel for the wedding breakfast.

Notably, on arriving at the Hotel, the sun came out so everyone could have their drinks reception outside in the gardens. During this time, I organised a group shot from the third floor of the hotel. Soon after this, guests were called in for the wedding breakfast.

Congratulations Liz and Demetri!
