Alderley Edge Hotel, Cheshire

Before The Ceremony

Bethany and Daniel couldn’t have wished for a better day to get married as it was the hottest Easter ever recorded. Bethany’s morning started with the buzz of preparation  with her bridesmaids and mum as they had their hair and make up done. This can sometimes be quite a hectic part of the day but everything was really calm and the mood was both soothing and happy. During this time, the guests  arrived and were relaxing downstaires in the garden of the hotel with a drink before the ceremony.  I also photographed Daniel with his bestmen and son Parker who was the usher who looked so dapper and cute in his little suit.

The Service

Bethany looked incredible coming down the aisle and Daniels face was a picture when he saw his bride for the first time. Furthermore, the love and emotion was obvious throughout with their son Parker being very much part of the action as he carried the rings. After an emotional and intimate service which included a lovely speech, we newly wed couple walked back down the aisle  to the beautifully played piano music by  Richard Millington.

Next, we had the opportunity for some lovely photographs in the amazing Alderley Edge gardens which presented lots of places for creative photography. In addition, guests were also captured as they chatted away enjoying the ambiance of the day. I took some group photographs, not forgetting one from a bedroom window of all the guests. I love photographing this part of the day as the pressure of getting married is off and everyone starts to relax.

Reception at Alderley Edge Hotel

It wasn’t long before everyone was ushered in for the wedding breakfast. Speeches were done first which worked really well as those speaking could then relax and enjoy their meal and have a few drinks. After, the guests went either back outside to the gardens or into the lounge area where Bethany and Daniel had booked a state of the art mirror photobooth by Simon at ‘Cheshire Celebrations’. I had never seen this before but it worked a treat with the guests. It hardly took up any space and was great to watch the guests having fun with it. It wasn’t long after when the evening guests started to arrive and Bethany and Daniel did their first dance together followed by them each dancing with one of their parents which was  emotional to watch!

A huge thanks to everyone who bought the day together including all the staff at Alderley Edge Hotel. The day was a huge success with a clear display of love and happiness in the air throughout. I am honoured to have had the opportunity to capture this wedding and I wish all the best to Bethany, Daniel and their son Parker.
