Certainly an amazing day photographing Sarah and Niall’s wedding at the Cottons Hotel in Knutsford.
Getting Ready at Cottons Hotel
The day started with Sarah and her bridesmaids getting ready. Whilst the hair artists worked their magic, photos were taken of expressions caught through reflections of mirrors. Sarah seemed very relaxed. Bridesmaids and family were buzzing around excitedly helping Sarah in the final preparations as they looked forward to the day ahead.
Shortly before Sarah got into her wedding dress, I left for the church to capture the groomsmen who all looked very dapper
St. John’s Church Chorlton
Although Niall looked a little nervous, he quickly relaxed as I began taking his photo. Niall and his groomsmen all looked very dapper in their suits. As they went about their duties, I began shooting the guests arriving.
Soon after, Sarah arrived with the bridesmaids in an opulent white limousine all looking stunning. The brides father looked extremely proud as he walked his daughter down the aisle to her future husband.
The ceremony was an intimate and touching ceremony, filled with enjoyment, emotion yet nevertheless full of smiles. St. Johns is a stunning church with light filtering through the stained glass windows creating a magical atmosphere. Once everybody exited the church I captured the guests congratulating the newlyweds followed by taking some formal group photos.
Reception at Cottons Hotel
Firstly on arriving at the reception, the sun was low, enabling some dramatic car shots with Niall and Sarah. Shortly after, the bridal party and I made our way to the beautiful area to the front of the hotel to capture some creative shots. After this, they joined their guests upstairs where drinks were flowing.
Indeed, the room was beautifully laid out with seat and table dressings together with lovely flowers placed around the room.
