Crewe Hall
Crewe Hall is a breathtaking wedding venue. As soon you as you turn in to the venue and travel up the stunning driveway towards the main building, you can tell that this is somewhere special.
Located in beautiful Cheshire countryside, grade 1 listed Crewe Hall makes an awesome backdrop for wedding photography.
Getting Ready at Crewe Hall
Natasha, my assistant and I began photographing Mai-Yee getting ready with her sisters and their children who were the bridesmaids. The room was really buzzing as the children were excitedly getting ready at the same time the make up artist, also a bridesmaid was preparing Mai-Yee for her big day.
The service
Shortly after we dashed off to photograph John and his groomsmen of whom all looked very dapper. Although a little nervous, John soon arrived as I started taking their photographs. The front of the hall made a magnificent backdrop for the photos. On returning to the bridal suite, we captured Mai-Yee just checking herself in the mirror. She looked stunning and guessing from the expression on her fathers face, he evidently thought the same.
The service room was full of historic charachter with fine ornate detail on the ceilings and lots of natural light entering from the side. As Mai-Yee’s father proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, all heads turned to see the beautiful bride.
Above all there were large beaming smiles as the couple said their ‘I do’s’. The service was both intimate and emotional and not without a few tears..and thats from the photographers too !
Reception drinks
After the service at Crewe Hall, everyone went outside for drinks and group photos. Following on from this, I took the newlyweds to various locations around Crewe Hall to capture the essence of this fabulous place.
Shortly after, guests were then whisked inside for the reception meal.
