Didsbury House Hotel

Truly Claire and Simon’s wedding at Didsbury House Hotel was an amazing day. Initially they got married at St. Vincents Church, Altrincham followed by their reception at Didsbury House Hotel. This luxury Victorian townhouse designed in a stylish eclectic fashion made a fantastic venue for a  wedding. Notably too, it was a perfect venue to capture creative photos of the happy couple. Adding to this, the interior were surrounded by candles which  gave a warm glow. This gave a wonderful cosy atmospheric feel to the day.

The Hotel lends itself to some great places to get photographs such as the wall with all the eccentric clocks, the grand staircase, the mezzanine balcony  together with a beautiful courtyard. The Hotel is park of the Eclectic Hotel collection who have a few hotels in the area and all are unique.  The interior is superbly presented with it’s quirkiness in the heart of Didsbury.

St. Vincents Church followed by Didsbury House Hotel.

Clare arrived at the church looking stunning. I’ve photographed at this church many times which is always a lovely experience. The priest is  really friendly and allows me to taking photos anywhere throughout the church. Shortly after the service guests started mingling and chatting to the happy couple. Soon after this I  organised some group photos followed by some more of just Clare and Simon.

Despite the wintery weather it was still a fantastic day for a wedding. The bridesmaids all had a stunning wintery white shawl which was ideal for this cold day. It also perfectly  matched their dress.

Arriving at the Hotel

On arriving at the hotel, the light was fading. However this didn’t deter us from getting some photos outside. Fortunately I was able to use outdoor studio lights to capture some lovely photos at dusk time.

Shortly after Clare and Simon were whisked away to join their guests for their reception meal.

A huge congratulations to Claire and Simon, thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer at Didsbury House Hotel, Didsbury, Cheshire
