Didsbury House Hotel, Manchester

Claire and Simon at Didsbury House Hotel. The fab wedding of Claire and Simon who got married at St. Vincents Church, Altrincham followed by the Didsbury House Hotel, Manchester. The luxury Victorian townhouse which is designed in a stylish eclectic fashion made a fantastic venue for such an amazing and relaxed wedding and a great opportunity to take creative and modern photography. Inside Didsbury House, the candles gave a warm glow with a wonderful cosy atmospheric feel to the day.

The Hotel lends itself to some great places to get photographs such as the wall with all the eccentric clocks, the grand staircase, the mezzanine balcony  together with a beautiful courtyard. The Hotel is park of the Eclectic Hotel collection who have a few hotels in the area and all are unique.  The interior is superbly presented with it’s quirkiness in the heart of Didsbury, and a total joy to work at.

Using outdoor studio lights gave me the opportunity to take some lovely photos at dusk time. I also used my lights inside on the staircase so Claire and Simon could be lit from above enabling them to stand out against the staircase.

Despite the wintery weather it was still a fantastic day for a wedding. Everyone was friendly and had a great time in the intimate setting of Didsbury House Hotel.

A huge congratulations to Claire and Simon, thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer at Didsbury House Hotel, Didsbury, Cheshire.
