Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club
Although this venue Dunham Forest Country Club doesn’t have too high a profile online, rest assured that it is a fabulous wedding venue.
My day started at the Golf Club, where I arrived early and took a few detail photos of the room set up. Soon after I met Harris and his bestman Darren. Having not met Nicole and Harris beforehand, it soon became apparent that Harris was a really chilled out guy who took everything in his stride. After taking some casual photos, guests started arriving and despite the rain, they didn’t mind having a few quick shots outside.
Shortly after Nicole arrived looking absolutely stunning and in the most beautiful dress. Undeterred by the rain, Nicole was full of beaming with smiles as her father helped her out the car.
The Service at Dunham Golf Club
The service was both intimate and full of happiness as they both gave emotional speeches followed by their ‘I do’s.’ The atmosphere was also one of joyful excitement as Nicole and Harris laughed and danced back down the aisle.
Reception Drinks
After the service, I set up lights for a few group shots which due to the weather had to be indoors. Fortunately the spacious ceremony room with its large circular windows made a fab backdrop for the photos. Being such a relaxed lovely couple, Nicole and Harris were up for some outdoor (in the rain) shots. Together with my wedding brolly and a few trees for cover, we made our way down the country path.
Soon, the guests went upstairs for afternoon tea. This afternoon tea was far from the typical scone and a cup of tea. Each guest had their very own three tier cake stand which was filled with delights such as trifle presented in mini glasses and chocolate mousse to name just a few. I can also vouch that they really were delicious!
