Certainly one of the top hotels in Chester to be a Grosvenor Pulford Hotel wedding photographer. It was a perfect choice for Sarah and Andy’s wedding. Their ceremony room was dressed beautifully with subtle pink lighting and cherry trees creating a real magical ambiance. As the cherry tree symbolises new beginnings and future happiness, the theme couldn’t be more apt for this couple who just couldn’t stop smiling at each other.
Sarah and her bridal party had their hair and make up done in one of the hotels opulent rooms. Everyone was was enjoying the moment as they buzzed around getting ready. A bottle of Lanson was popped open adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Shortly after I went to photograph the groomsmen getting ready. This made for some fun shots as they searched for their shoes, shirts and button holes. It wasn’t long before they all looked very dapper as we headed outside for photos.

On returning to the bridal room, I captured Sarah’s dad looking emotional on seeing his daughter in her stunning dress for the first time. Soon all heads turned to see Sarah’s dad proudly walk her down the aisle.
After an intimate and emotional ceremony which was full of both laughter and tears, everybody headed in the main area for a drinks reception which was accompanied by some fantastic music from a steel band.

Whilst guests mingled enjoying canapes and music, family group photos were taken outside in the sun. After time enjoyed with guests, I took the happy couple together with the bridal party to the hotel’s incredible Asian ornamental gardens. This really is a hidden gem.
Soon, the guests were whisked inside for their reception meal shortly to be followed by Sarah and Andy. After the wedding breakfast, there some very well received speeches full of funny anecdotes.
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of the cake followed by a romantic first dance. Before long the dancefloor filled up as everyone had a fantastic time.
