Heaton House Farm

The wedding of Vicki and Andy at Heaton House Farm, Cheshire  had been on my wish list for quite a while so I could finally do this when Vicki and Andy booked me to photograph their wedding.

Getting Ready at the Farm

The morning began with Vicki, her bridesmaids and flower girl   having their  hair and make up done. It was a lively morning getting ready. The bubbles were most certainly in full flow and everyone appeared very relaxed and enjoying the moment. The beautiful mirrors in the rent lent themselves to lovely shots as I focused on the reflections in them.

Soon after I went to meet Andy with the groomsmen. They all looked extremely dapper and after a few formal shots, I then captured them with the guests.

It was a funny old day for the weather, with glorious sunshine accompanied by quick, short downpours. We were lucky as the rains held back and the sun came out enabling us to make use of the fantastic scenery at Heaton House Farm.

The Rustic Barn of Heaton House Farm

The Farm is a beautiful location amongst 165 acreas of grounds hidden away in the Cheshire countryside. Firstly, they have a hidden gardened area which surrounds a lake and makes a fabulous location to take wedding photos. Secondly, Its a proper working farm that doubles up as a wedding venue. Its a gorgeous venue to get married, with amazing opportunities for creative photography all over the farm.

Their service was intimate yet also filled with laughter and some tears. After the ceremony the guests had drinks whilst I took the couple outside for some photos in the grounds of Heaton House Farm.

After some informal photos outside in the beautiful grounds Vicki and Andy had their reception meal followed by some funny and emotional speeches.

Congratulations Vicki and Andy, it was a pleasure being part of your special day.
