Manchester City Wedding

As a Manchester wedding photographer, it was an amazing opportunity to photograph a Manchester City Wedding. Initially meeting Jess and Chris in an Altrincham Café, I immediately recognised them from somewhere however couldn’t pinpoint from where. They were sensing the same thoughts when Jess suddenly recalled being in the same Salsa dancing class as myself. I may add that I have since given up and remembering that Jess was one of best in class, I couldn’t resist getting some dancing shots of them both!

Due to covid and the fact their families came from all over the world, Jess and Chris had decided to have only two guests to their special day: Mark and Emma who were their close friends. Larger celebration parties were to take place later in the year abroad with their families.

I began the day at the Midland Hotel where a few getting ready photos were taken. Soon after we headed outside for natural photos of Jess and Chris and with  their friends too

Manchester Registry Office

Approximately an hour later we made our way to the Pankhurst Suite at Manchester Registry Office. Despite the very small group , their service was as emotional and meaningful as any large wedding. Above all there were large beaming smiles as the couple  said their ‘I do’s’. The service was intimate and after there were lots of beaming smiles.

Once the marriage service was over we took the newly weds to various locations around Manchester for some more creative photos. Finally, we finished close to the Midland Hotel where the four of them were off to an amazing reception meal.

Certainly a lovely day with this awesome couple. Wishing you all the best for the future and hope you keep the Salsa up !
