Mottram Hall Wedding

It was a pleasure photographing Sarah and Eddies’s wedding at Mottram Hall. The happy couple could not have picked a better venue for their wedding as not only is the exterior magnificent with its landscaped gardens but the interior is too. With the British weather being forcast torrential rain, we were still able to use its stunning interior.

Firstly, Sarah began her wedding day celebrations getting her hair and make up done with her girls. When I arrived, everybody was really relaxed and excited for the day ahead. The make up artist Tallulah worked her magic creating stunning hair styles and make up.

Fortunately, when I went to meet the groomsmen, the rain held off for a short while, enabling to get some shots outside with the hall in the background. Both Eddie and his son Aidan, the bestman looked very dapper in their suits. Despite Eddie being a little nervous, Aidan couldn’t stop making him laugh which created some lovely relaxed photos.

Service at Mottram Hall

Soon after I went back up to the bridal suite to capture Sarah with her brother Rob and the bridesmaids make their way down for the service. Although their day was limited to 30 guests due to covid restrictions, it was nevertheless an emotional and personal service as Sarah and Eddie said their ‘I do’s’. The ceremony room was filled with stunning flowers and candles creating a beautiful atmosphere. Inspite of the rain, everyone was smiling and even didn’t mind having some photos taken outside.

Sarah looked radiant as she walked down the aisle with a beaming smile.

After the Intimate Service

After the service the rain was so torrential we took the group shots inside. Following on from this, we were able to make use of the venue’s beautiful interior as I photographed Sarah and Eddie both together and with the bridal party.

Shortly after the guests sat down for the wedding breakfast.
