Peckforton Castle wedding photographer. Certainly as you pass through the stunning gatehouse lodge and up the long sweeping drive it looks awesome. Steeped in history and set against a backdrop of rolling Cheshire countryside, it’s an idyllic venue for a castle wedding.
I began with photographing the bride getting ready with bridesmaids and friends at the hairdressers. Certainly everyone was relaxed and excited for the day ahead. Truly a lovely morning, full of smiles and laughter with a few bottles of bubbly being opened.
Shortly after I went to photograph the groomsmen of whom all looked very dapper. Although a little nervous, the groom soon relaxed as he had his photograph taken. A short while before the service I returned to the bridal suite to capture the brides father looking rather emotional as he sees his daughter all ready for her special day.
As he proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, all heads turned to see the beautiful bride. All nerves were replaced with large beaming smiles as the couple said their ‘I do’s’. The service was both intimate and emotional but not without lots of beaming smiles. Certainly the room was beautifully decorated with lots of natural light filtering through.
Once the marriage service was over the guests went out into the glorious summer sun to the stunning garden. With drinks flowing and delicious canapes being eaten, you could tell everyone was having an amazing time. Shortly after a few group photos were taken within the grounds of the castle. Finally I got some moments with the newly weds to create some lovely couple shots.
After that, guests were whisked inside for the reception meal. The room was beautifully laid out and the food looked delicious!
Wishing you all the best for the future !
