Peckforton Castle

Sarah and Gary chose an amazing setting for their beautiful wedding at Peckforton Castle.  Certainly, Sarah’s  daughters, the flowergirls were so excited about the day that they couldn’t stopping dancing and laughing around. Without delay, they  started trying their mums wedding shoes on! Soon after I left to photograph Gary and his bestman  who looked very dapper in their suits. Following this,  I returned to Sarah’s room to just in time to photograph her dad seeing her. He looked very proud as he led his daughter towards the Great Hall. Sarah looked stunning as did her flowergirls with their cute baskets of confetti.

The service at Peckforton Castle

Their ceremony was so emotional with a harp performance and heartfelt readings. Infact,  it was hard not to get a little emotional myself! The Great Hall was a stunning place to exchange their vows. From the Hall’s exquisite vaulted ceiling to the stained glass windows, the rays of light filtered through. In essence, there could not be a more sublime setting for the harpists music and a wedding ceremony.

Reception

After the service, drinks flowed as everyone enjoyed the amazing grounds of Peckforton Castle. Soon after, some group photos were taken and then we explored the grounds  and woodlands area to get some creative photos. It wasn’t long before everyone headed into the beautifully decorated room for their reception. Throughout the day it was clear to see what an amazing connection these two had between each other. The moments spent taking their photos was a pleasure.

Congratuations Sarah and Gary and thank you for having me along to capture your special day.
