Peckforton Castle

Sarah and Gary chose an amazing setting for their beautiful wedding at Peckforton Castle.  Sarah and her  flowergirls who were her daughters Summer and Poppy got ready in one of the castles opulent rooms. The flowergirls were so excited about their mums big day that they couldn’t stopping dancing and laughing around the room as Sarah was having her hair and make up done. Summer even started trying her mums wedding shoes on! Soon after I went to meet Gary and his bestman  Ross where we made use of all the different castle settings to get a wide variety of different photos.

The service

As I went back to Sarah’s room to photograph her making her way with her dad towards the Great Hall, Sarah looked stunning as did her flowergirls with their cute baskets of confetti. Their ceremony was so emotional with a harp performance and heartfelt readings, it was hard not to get a little emotional myself! The Great Hall was a stunning place to exchange their vows. From the Hall’s exquisite vaulted ceiling to the stained glass windows where the rays of light filters through, there could not be a more sublime setting for the harpists music and a wedding ceremony.

After the service, drinks flowed as everyone enjoyed the amazing grounds of Peckforton Castle. After a while some group photos were taken and then myself, Sarah and Gary explored the grounds of the castle and woodlands area to get some creative photos. It wasn’t long before everyone headed into the beautifully decorated room for their reception. Throughout the day it was clear to see what an amazing connection these two had and the moments spent taking their photos was a pleasure.

Congratuations Sarah and Gary and thank you for having me along to capture your special day.
