Stockport Town Hall

Stockport Town Hall is a stunning venue for a wedding. With its stunning renaissance architecture, paired with the spectacular Marble Staircase, it provides an unrivalled backdrop for a couples special day. This was a small wedding a few years ago. This lovely couple just had their service at the Town Hall. Following on from here, they went elsewhere for their wedding celebrations

The service at Stockport Town Hall

To begin with I went to photograph the groomsmen of whom all looked very dapper. Although a little nervous, the groom soon relaxed as he had his photograph taken. A short while before the bride arrived looking stunning. Despite the rain, the bride was full of smiles as both her father and staff helped her to the entrance without getting wet.

As the brides father proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, all heads turned to see the beautiful bride. Above all there were large beaming smiles as the couple  said their ‘I do’s’. The service was both intimate and emotional but not without lots of beaming smiles. Certainly the room was beautifully decorated with lots of natural light filtering through.

Reception drinks at Stockport Town Hall

Once the marriage service was over, the guests enjoyed the ambiance of the beautiful town hall. With drinks flowing, you could tell everyone was having an amazing time. Firstly a some group photos were taken against the majestic staircase of the hall. Following on from this,  I took the newly weds to various locations around the gorgeous locations of the hall for some more creative photos.
