Stockport Town Hall followed by the The Merlin Alderley Edge
Notably a beautiful warm sunny day for a wedding celebration. After many years together Louise and Tim have finally tied the knot and they couldn’t have picked a more lovely day!
Stockport Town Hall Service
Beginning at Stockport Town Hall, they had a lovely intimate service. The Town Hall had some great features for photographs such as the columns at the front and a green area to the side for photos. The service was held in a gorgeous atmospheric room. Up through the ceiling, daylight came flooding in. Truely this was an intimate and touching ceremony, filled with enjoyment and emotion. Another key point was their children were also part of the bridal party making it all the more special.
After the service Louise and Tim jumped into a taxi off to the Merlin Hotel in Alderley Edge where we were able to take more photographs in the lovely grounds of the Merlin.
The Merlin, Cheshire is a lovely restaurant a making it a great venue for a wedding reception. On arriving, the bridal party and I made the most of the beautiful grounds to capture some creative images. Initially I took some formal shots of Louise with her bridesmaids which was quickly followed by some spontaneous fun photos of them too.
In due time, I was able to concentrate on just the couple. I like to work quickly during this time so as not to keep them away from their guests for long. To begin with, lovely photos were taken at the front of The Merlin followed by more spontaneous action shots of them within the grounds.
Indeed, the room was beautifully laid out together with the most amazing flowers placed around the room.
Congratulations Louise and Tim
