The Bridge Hotel

The Bridge Hotel in Prestbury Village  which sits on the banks of the river Bollin in Prestbury made  the perfect wedding venue for  Hannah and Alex’s small yet beautiful wedding. This modern grade II listed building with its blend of old and new together with its gorgeous gardens is full of character.

Hannah and her girlfriends got ready in one of the gorgeous rooms at The Bridge Hotel. Meanwhile, Alex was getting ready in another of the rooms, enabling me to have the pleasure of capturing both of them preparing for their special day.

Soon after, photographs were taken of Alex and his bestman. They both looked very dapper and full of laughs as I photographed them outside the venue.

Just before the service I dashed back to Hannah’s room to capture her dad seeing her for the first time in her dress. Hannah looked stunning and evidently from their expressions, her dad and the girls thought the same. Hannah spent a few special moments with her dad who was so proud to be walking her down the aisle.

Service at The Bridge

Heads turned as Hannah walked down the aisle with her dad. The registra told stories on how they met which made for many smiles and laughs. Soon, Hannah and Alex were saying their ‘I do’s’. The ceremony was very intimate and emotional together with a few tears.

In The Gardens

Shortly after everyone made their way to the garden for drinks and canapes. We paused for some family groups and after I took the couple for a walk on to the infamous historic bridge for photos. Further lovely portraits were taken before everyone was whisked inside for the wedding breakfast.

Congratulations to Hannah and Alex, I hope you had an awesome day and I felt really privileged to be part of it.
