The Roebuck Inn Mobberley
David and Nick chose the gorgeous award winning inn called The Roebuck Inn the leafy village of Mobberley for their small and intimate civil partnership. Being a Grade ll listed building dating back to 1708, it is full of rustic charm with a unique charachter.
Their special day was the last day in August this year which turned out to be a wonderfully warm and sunny day. The service at The Roebuck took place in a quaint marquee area at the bottom of the gardens at the Roebuck. It was beautifully decorated with flowers. The flowergirls looked stunning as they led the way through the garden scattering petals on their way. Dave and Nick had an intimate service but with plenty of smiles as their dog Holly was the ring bearer and did a fine job being so. In fact she did such a good job, there was a special ‘dogsmaid’ cake for her alone! After the service, Dave and Nick perfomed a little ritual of pouring two different sands together as a sign or them sharing their life together.
As Nick and Dave made their way through the arch in the charachterful gardens, the guests followed and were soon enjoying drinks in the warm sunshine. After a while some group photos were taken and then myself, Dave and Nick explored the area outside the Inn to get some creative photos. When everyone was ready, guests were led into the beautifully decorated bistro loung for their reception. Their meal was paticularly special as everyone sat at one long table creating an intimate and wonderful atmosphere.
Congratuations Dave and Nick, photographing your wedding was a real pleasure and thank you for having me along to capture your special day.
