Adlington Hall Cheshire

Before The Ceremony

In short this was an amazing day! Rebecca and Jonny’s wedding at Adlington Hall Cheshire was such a pleasure to photograph. Firstly, Rebecca got ready at the Hunting Lodge  with her bridesmaids and gorgeous flower girls. There was such a happy atmosphere with lots of laughter and Rebecca being looking very relaxed. Following on from this, I took photos of Jonny with his groomsmen with the old  Hall in the background. The ornate pillars at the front also created a dynamic backdrop.

The Hall

Adlington Hall and the Hunting Lodge are both set in a small village in Macclesfield, Cheshire. The Hall itself was built around two big oak trees which are 700 years old and full of amazing carvings. It has the most famed historic organ in the country and makes this venue  an incredible space to have a ceremony. From the moulded roof arches to the richly decorated murals, what better backdrop for a ceremony to dazzel guests.

The Service and Drinks

Furthermore, it was an intimate service with a few giggles in between as Rebecca struggled to place Jonny’s ring on. The light filtered into the hall from the side creating a magical scene.  Even their 2 year old daughter Elsie was spellbound by the whole experience as she held her wand and watched in awe. Shortly after was the drinks reception followed by group photographs in the courtyard. In due time, the bridal party and I made use of the splendid manicured gardens.

Reception at The Hunting Lodge

Once the wedding breakfast was ready to be served, everyone was ushered up to the Hunting Lodge.  Finally, before the wedding breakfast was served I went round the tables  capturing the guests enjoying themselves. The whole vibe of the day was one of happiness and celebration. Equally important, were the staff who would go out of their way to ensure that everything went well.

Congratulations Rebecca and Jonny!
