Beeston Manor

This was the first time I had photographed a wedding  at Beeston Manor. Certainly a stunning venue with panoramic views, situated in Hoghton near Preston. This stunning venue is a converted 16th century barn making it an excellent venue for a wedding.

Getting Ready

The day started with Rhianne, her bridesmaids and mum getting ready in the bridal suite. Certainly everyone was relaxed and excited for the day ahead. Truly a lovely morning, full of smiles and laughter with a few bottles of bubbly being opened. Soon after, I went to photograph Sean with his bestman and usher. Within the grounds we found an area full of old tractors  where we used for some moody men shots.

The service at Beeston Manor

Just before the ceremony began, I dashed off back to Rhianne’s room to capture her all ready and looking stunning. Rhianne’s dad couldn’t hold back his emotion when he saw her in the wedding dress for the first time!  After we made our way to the upstairs barn where Sean waited a little nervously. Once Rhianne arrived, all nerves were replaced with large beaming smiles as Rhianne and Sean said their ‘I do’s’. Certainly the room was beautifully decorated with lots of natural light filtering through.

Reception drinks at Beeston Manor

Once the marriage service was over the guests went out into the glorious summer sun to the stunning gardens. Luckily this beautiful day in June was the only day with a break from the rain. Although sunny, there were some  pronounced clouds which I used  to my advantage to get some artistic shots. We made use of the acres of land where some lovely photographs were taken of the bridal party. With drinks and canapes flowing you could tell the day was going to be fantastic.

Rhianne and Sean – thank you for choosing me to capture your day. A beautiful wedding to photograph and I wish you all the best for the future !
