Bramhall Hall, Cheshire
Monica and Mikes wedding was a beautiful Bramhall Hall wedding. This venue is an example of a Tudor Manor House set in 70 acres of beautiful Cheshire parkland. Certainly it makes it a perfect venue for a wedding.
All of a sudden guests arrived on a bright red double decker bus. Suddenly this bought Bramhall Hall to life as guests filled the front area of the hall. The red bus certainly stood out against the historic black and white building. Soon after taking photos of the guests, I then captured the groomsmen all looking very dapper.
Monica arrived in a taxi and was sat in the back smiling and giggling with Julie, her future mother in law. They didn’t stop smiling most of the day! And thats despite being outside having a few photos in the showers.
Monica and Mike’s wedding was amazing and perhaps a little intense. Intense because the registras were rather late as they mistakenly had the time of the service as 2pm rather than midday. Whilst guests contacted the registras, I used this time by taking lots of lovely portraits of Monica. Suddenly everything happened rather quickly which gave it a unique pace. I believe every wedding has a little hiccup which make the day all the more special and memorable.
In The Chapel
The service was held in the chapel of this Bramhall Hall wedding which is so atmospheric with its stained glass windows and ornate ceilings. It was an intimate and touching ceremony, filled with enjoyment and emotion. Following on from this, the guests had a tour around the house. Meanwhile I wandered round the historical building with the happy couple for some portraits. Every room in the hall was like an old master painting. Indeed it was a delight capturing some creative masterpieces around the Hall.
Reception at the Hall
With dinner on the horizon, the couple spent some time with their friends before being welcomed into their wedding breakfast. Firstly they had the speeches, followed by a delicious meal.
Having regularly visited Bramhall Park on days out, it was a proper walk down memory lane for me to spend the day there with Monica & Mike.
