Stockport Town Hall Wedding

Stockport Town Hall is a stunning wedding venue? An Edwardian grade 11 listed building, the hall stands out in the town centre due to its impressive renaissance architecture.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Semira and Luke’s special Stockport wedding. Arriving at the town hall, I was just in time to capture the groomsmen arriving as they walked up the A6. They all looked very dapper and relaxed as they strolled up the road telling anecdotes and laughing.

Soon guests started arriving and after a few moments capturing Luke greeting them, Semira arrived. Looking slightly nervous, Semira glanced out the car window before her dad helped her out. It made a lovely change to see a bride wearing a trouser suit. She looked  so stunning, elegant and modern. Together with her dad and his distinguished looks, it made for a gorgeous natural shot as they smiled at each other before making their way up the path towards the entrance.

The service at Stockport Town Hall

Semira and Luke had their service in the Robert Hyde room. As light poured in the side windows,a serene atmosphere was created for this beautiful and intimate service.

As  Semira’s dad  proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, all heads turned to see the beautiful bride. Noticable too was all guests constantly smiling as the couple said their ‘I do’s and got married.

The registra Helen had such a friendly and funny nature, she made everyone smile and feel relaxed. So much so that Semira and Luke did a fun little dance on their way back down the aisle.

Soon after taking some requested group photos, I got some moments with the newly weds to create some lovely creative couple shots around the Town Hall.

Congratulations Semira and Luke, it was a real pleasure photographing your special day!
