A Stockport Town Hall wedding photographer for the fab wedding of Cat and Arran. This impressive Edwardian grade 11 listed building, with its impressive renaissance architecture makes a fantastic venue for a wedding.
The day began at The Premier Inn, Stockport where I photographed Cat getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids. The room was buzzing as they all dashed around and applied make up and had their hair done.
Shortly after I met Arran with his brother, the bestman Ellis. The weather wasn’t in our favour but nevertheless with them both looking very dapper, managed to capture some natural shots. As their guests arrived fully equipped with macs and brollies they were all full of beaming smiles.
Moments later, Cat and her mum arrived in an impressive landrover, owned and driven by their friend who did a great job helping me to ensure they didn’t get wet!
Cat and Arran had their service on the impressive marble staircase of Stockport Town Hall. With lots of natural light filtereing through the main doors, it created a beautiful ambiance.
As Cat’s mum Elizabeth proudly walked her daughter towards the staircase, all heads turned. Cat looked stunning. She had skillfully made her own stylish top, the material of which, had especially been sent over from France.
The ceremony was both intimate and emotional. After, as guests mingled with drinks, photographs were taken on the stunning marble staircase.
Following on from this we went to Bramhall Park. Despite the endless rain, it was so great it didn’t impede this chilled out couple from having lots of shots in the rain.
On arriving, it wan’t long for the reception meal. Speeches were full of funny anecdotes especially from Cat’s mum which caused many laughs! Time flew by and before long it was Cat and Arran’s first dance.
