Mere Court Hotel Wedding
Mere Court Hotel Wedding in Knutsford, Cheshire. It was the perfect venue for Gabby and Jon’s wedding. With a beautiful lake amongst lush landscaped gardens, it was perfect for a wedding!.
The service at Mere
On arriving at Mere Court, I photographed Jon and his groomsmen. All looking very dapper, they were relaxed chatting away and enjoying the ambiance of Mere Court. Having been warned that Jon really wasn’t keen on having his photo taken, I took very few posed shots and just captured spontaneous moments of him laughing with his groomsmen. Shortly after, Gabby arrived at the venue with her sister and mum. The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day and all were so happy. Gabby looked incredible in her stunning dress and funky, fashionable wedding boots.
Gabby’s dad was nervously waiting for Gabby near the entrance and looked so smitten on seeing her. His nerves soon dissipated as I worked on capturing photos of them walking and laughing together.
As he proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, all heads turned to see the beautiful bride. Above all there were large beaming smiles as the couple said their ‘I do’s’. The service was both intimate and emotional and with lots of beaming smiles. Certainly the room was a picture, with its lush green foliage and natural light filtering through the front window..
Reception drinks at Mere Court
Soon after, the guests exited into the glorious summer sun. After fun confetti shots, drinks started flowing and delicious canapes eaten. Certainly you could tell everyone was having an amazing time. Firstly a few requested formal group photos were taken. Secondly I took the newly weds to various locations around the epic grounds of the hotel for some more creative photos. Finally guests were whisked inside for the reception meal.
