Wedding Photography at Sandhole Oak Barn

It was an amazing day photographing this awesome couple at Sandhole Oak Barn. The day began at Ruth’s parents house where Ruth and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done. Make up artists created their magic, bridesmaids fitted buttonholes on the chaps and their cute little dog dashed around being very much part of the action.

Christ Church, Winsford

On arriving at the church, the groomsmen were all looking extremely dapper and relaxed as they were joking and laughing. Soon after taking a few photos, I dashed back to the house to photograph Ruth , her dad and the bridesmaids walking to the church. Ruth’s dad is a vicar and had the dual tasks of both giving his daughter away together with conducting the service.

As he proudly walked his daughter down the aisle, he quickly reversed roles to conduct the service. Ruth really looked stunning in the most amazing dress. With lots of guests, the singing filled the church creating a real joyous atmosphere. Secret glances were captured between the couple as they said their ‘I do’s’ followed by kisses and lots of smiles and laughter !

Due to the fact that not all guests could attend Sandhole, Phil and Ruth served afternoon teas and delicious cakes for the guests in one of the large church rooms.

Arriving at Sandhole Oak Barn

Sandhole Oak Barn was the perfect location for their wedding with lots of natural light and a relaxed country feel. On arriving, guests started mingling and drinks flowed together with lots of very tasty canapes. After taking a selection of group photos, I managed to sneak the newly weds and bridal party away for some fun pics and portraits.

Soon everyone was whisked into the barn for the wedding breakfast. The speeches followed a delicious wedding breakfast, with lots of laughter and lovely stories. With the only thing remaining to dance the night away. Scottish Ceilidh music soon created a real party atmosphere as all the guests were up dancing, swinging each other round and having a ball of a time.
