Sandhole Oak Barn

Natalie and Joe chose a stunning venue for their  wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn which is an amazing converted barn. As can be seen from its beautiful high ceilings, wooden floors and vast amounts of space, it is evidently an excellent conversation for a wedding venue. Coupled with the  natural light pouring in from both the service and reception buildings, it created  a lovely natural ambiance to their special day. Adding to this, the weather was  amazing. It was  considered the hottest day ever recorded in July so the sun was shining throughout the day  enabling the guests to chill outside and enjoy the beautiful views from the barn.

Getting Ready

Natalie and her bridesmaids and flowergirls all got ready in a large and impressive bridal suite. I love photographing this part of the day as everyone was buzzing around getting ready and having a laugh. The flowergirls looked amazing in their dresses and I caught a lovely shot of them both reflected in the large full length ornate mirrow as they did the final touches to their hair and dress’s. Natalie was really relaxed and chilled as she prepared for her big day. Shortly after I met up with Joe and his groomsmen where I was also able to catch them getting ready as they did the final touches to their suits. I also captured some lovely shots of them walking down the entrance path towards  Sandhole Oak Barn which showed off not only the men but also the lovely scenary of the the area.

Following on from this, I went back to the bridal suite to capture Natalie being walked down  by her dad and bridesmaids to tie the knot. Natalie looked stunning and her dad looked very proud as he walked her down the aisle. The ceremony room was set up beautifully in the Oak Barn. Their service was both intimate and emotional and it was evident they only had eyes for each other as I captured their secret glances towards each other together with beaming smiles.

Soon after the service, drinks and canapes flowed whilst everyone enjoyed the amazing grounds at the front of Sandhole Oak Barn. As the sun was so strong, guests could still sit outside and shade themselves under the beautiful oak clock tower which is just adjacent to the oak barn. Some  group photos were taken and then myself and the bridal party  explored the grounds to capture some creative photos by the lake. It wasn’t long before everyone headed into the beautifully decorated room for their reception.

Congratuations Natalie and Joe, it was such a pleasure photographing your wedding and I wish you all the best for the future.
