Didsbury House Hotel
Christmas is soon to be here with few weddings able to go ahead. For this reason, I thought I’d show a blog from a Christmas time wedding a few years back. This is the most beautiful small luxury townhouse hotel set in the heart of Didsbury. It was an amazing day photographing this awesome couple at Didsbury House Hotel. The day began at the in one of the opulent rooms of the hotel where the bride and her bridesmaids had their hair and make up done.
Service at Didsbury House Hotel
After a while, I went to photograph the groomsmen of whom all looked very dapper. Although a little nervous, the groom soon relaxed as he had his photograph taken. Soon after, I returned to the bridal suite to capture the brides father looking rather emotional as he sees his daughter all ready for her special day. The service was both intimate and emotional but not without lots of beaming smiles. Certainly the room was beautifully decorated with lots of gorgeous candle lights together with light filtering through the windows. Being at that time of year, a magnificent Christmas Tree was positioned at the front of the room creating that warm Christmassy feel.
Reception at the Hotel
Following on from the service, guests mingled, and drinks flowed together with lots of very tasty canapes. Firstly I photographed the couple on the hotel’s beautiful staircase. Secondly, I dashed up to their mezzanine balcony overlooking the grand entrance. Soon everyone was whisked into the beautifully laid out reception room for the wedding breakfast. Moments later the newly weds joined them for a delicious meal.
