Manchester Wedding Photographer

As a Manchester Wedding Photographer, capturing Ahrif and Farrah’s special day was such a pleasure .  Beginning at the mosque in Rusholme, we then set off to the Ivy Manchester. The day began when I met Ahrif , the groom at Victoria Park Mosque. Initially a little nervous, Ahrif  soon relaxed  and was  full of smiles. Shortly after, Farrah arrived looking stunning in a beautiful Pakistani wedding dress. This is known as a Nikah. Its gorgeous subtle shades of blue complimented the intricate henna design painted on her hands.

Having not been in a mosque before, I was awestruck by the opulent bright light in the main room. It made an amazing backdrop for their ceremony photos. The service known as a Nikka was conducted by the Imam. The Imam  had such a friendly and funny nature, he made everyone smile and feel relaxed.

Their Nikka service was truly beautiful and intimate. As rays of light shone through the side windows  a serene atmosphere was created.

On arriving at The Ivy in Manchester, other guests were waiting to greet the newlyweds. This stunning venue set over four floors has both an elegant charm and unique character. It was the perfect venue for Ahrif and Farrah’s wedding celebration.

Due to the bitter cold weather, we avoided going outside. Instead,  I took the photographs around  the opulent interior of the Ivy. Firstly we  had photographs taken amongst the green foliage  in  the salubrious interior the Roof terrace. Following on from this, we went to the  Asian room. Uniquely, the entire floor is illuminated with a beautiful green, semi-precious stone floor and luxurious Asian fabrics.

Significantly, Ahrif and Farrah celebrated their reception meal in the sophisticated Dalton Room with its luxurious marble floor and gorgeous brightly coloured paintings.

Congratulations Ahrif and Farrah, it was a  pleasure photographing your special day !
